The Airline Transport Pilot Licence Course is designed to train cadet pilots to work in a commercial airline company. It is the essential and final course after the CPL/IR Licence to become a qualified pilot with commercial airlines.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Letter of approval from Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia
- An existing and valid CPL/IR from any country recognized by ICAO
- Successful medical examination Class I with requisite certificate from DCA approved medical practitioner
- Adequate competency in the English language
COURSE DURATION
The duration of the course is six (6) weeks for a total of two hundred (200) hours of ground training. The ATPL – Theory only covers all aviation theory subjects required by the UKCAA International.
On completion of the course, the holder now has Commercial Pilot Licences/Instrument Rating with Frozen ATPL. In order to convert to a full ATPL licence, the individual must be at least 21 years of age and has accumulated 1,500 hours of flying hours. |
